Clinical Experience in Remedial Massage & Rehabilitation

This page outlines my professional experience and clinical background across remedial massage, exercise science, sports treatment, and rehabilitation.

My work spans private clinical practice, elite sporting environments, multidisciplinary medical teams, and international practice settings. These experiences shape a practical, evidence-based approach to assessment, treatment, and long-term functional outcomes.

Professional info

Hill Yang began his remedial massage therapy journey with a foundation in Chinese medical massage, developing early insight into traditional therapeutic principles. Driven by a desire to understand how these approaches compare and integrate with Western clinical practice, he formally pursued remedial massage training at the Massage School of Queensland.

Throughout his studies, Hill demonstrated strong academic and practical performance, graduating with outstanding results and receiving both Dux of the School and Excellence in Remedial Practice awards.

With a deep passion for remedial massage and a growing interest in sports treatment and rehabilitation, Hill expanded his education by undertaking a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Pre-Physiotherapy pathway). In parallel, he trained as a personal trainer, sports trainer, and strength & conditioning coach, allowing him to integrate clinical manual therapy with evidence-based exercise and rehabilitation principles.

Hill’s clinical approach balances therapeutic relief with a strong understanding of physiology, biomechanics, anatomy, and movement science. His work incorporates dynamic myofascial release, myofascial dry needling, neuromuscular techniques, functional cupping, kinesiology taping, aromatherapy, injury prevention strategies, and structured rehabilitation support.

This integrated framework enables Hill to support both short-term symptom relief and long-term functional outcomes.
